Yarn Point Knitters began in 1974 as a co-operative group of knitters living in a cluster of
remote Fortune Bay settlements on the south coast of Newfoundland. Over the years, we have
grown from our original 25 knitters to 200 knitters located in communities across the island.
Yarn Point Knitters is a knit goods wholesale manufacturer that continues to be a cottage industry suited to the rural lifestyle of its members who work from their homes.
Yarn Point Knitters offers a blend of handcrafted quality and classic design. Over the years,
our product line has expanded from two designs to include an entire line of hand and machine
knit sweaters and accessories in 100% wool. The exceptional quality and traditional styling
are evident in our products, as is the pride of the knitter who created the garment for you.
